MR. MAN MOHAN SINGH
Managing Trustee
After completing a Master’s Degree in History, Man Mohan (Koko) Singh joined the corporate mainstream, working in marketing and general management for over 15 years. He then crossed over to the social sector, chose to volunteer his time and efforts to the ‘development sector’ (a hazardous and addictive occupation that he is still stuck with!). He has been working on a volunteer basis for over 30 years. He has a passion for travel and has extensively travelled and explored the Himalayas, authoring 6 books on driving holidays in the region. Since 2008, he has been actively involved in running Atmashakti Trust and continues to guide and mentor the organisation as it grows in its work.
MS. RUCHI KASHYAP
Executive Trustee
With over 25 exhilarating years in the development sector, Ruchi has led Atmashakti since 2008, following her tenure at SRUTI (Society for Rural Urban and Tribal Initiative). Since embarking on her journey in the development sector in 1998, Ruchi has gained extensive experience working at the grassroots level. Her dynamic personality, strategic thinking, passion, dedication, and innovative creativity have propelled the organization to new heights. She bravely ventured into large-scale risk-taking and experimentation to foster sustainable collective action in the tribal and marginalized communities of Odisha.

As a woman leader, Ruchi has carved out her place in a decidedly patriarchal mindset while creating opportunities for others. She promotes diversity and the integration of various skill sets within the workforce, empowering her team to grow and excel. Today, she is a mentor and guide to a formidable team of approximately 400 individuals working to empower tribal and marginalized communities.
In May 2023, Ruchi achieved another milestone by completing the Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership (NPL) program at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. She looks forward to applying her knowledge, ideas, and innovation to drive the organization’s growth.

MS. ANJALI BANERJI
Ms. Anjali has been primarily involved in the education sector. After doing post-graduation in Mathematics from the Delhi University, she was teaching mathematics in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and the British School. She’s now working as a consultant on primary school education.
MS. ANURADHA SHARMA
Anuradha Sharma completed her post-graduation in Social Work from Delhi University, but chose to follow a successful career in the garment industry. However, demanding her work, she managed to devote time and energy to help fledgling voluntary organisations (Pan Himalayan Grassroots Foundation, Society for Rural Urban and Tribal Initiative (SRUTI) and Aarohi) as they were taking their first small steps.
