Four Pillar Strategy
Once this structure is in place, it becomes crucial to nurture “change amplifiers,” individuals who guide the community forward and support the ongoing process of cadre building. These amplifiers play a vital role in sustaining progress by ensuring communities remain engaged and their leadership continues to grow.
Equally important is the organization’s role in providing continuous feedback to the government, offering recommendations that ensure policies are grounded in reality and effectively implemented. By creating models that demonstrate tangible change, leveraging government schemes, and maximizing entitlements, we ensure these efforts lead to real, sustainable transformation.
Together, these four pillars—communication, civil agency, change amplification, and policy feedback—create a strong foundation for long-lasting impact, establishing a robust base for future growth and progress. Atmashakti’s approach is built on four core pillars:

Together, these four pillars—communication, civil agency, change amplification, and policy feedback—create a strong foundation for long-lasting impact, establishing a robust base for future growth and progress. Atmashakti’s approach is built on four core pillars:

Community Leadership, Engagement, and Development - CO-LED
This pillar focuses on building a robust network of community leaders, fostering local leadership, and enhancing engagement within the community.
COLED aims to establish a network that connects leaders from within the community to enhance collaboration and coordination to ensure community-led leadership.
This pillar establishes a two-way communication channel linking leaders in remote rural communities with global networks. Trained local leaders, organized through committees at village, Gram Panchayat, Block, District, and State levels, ensure that information about government services reaches the most remote areas, while feedback from these communities is communicated back up the chain.
Change Amplifiers
Dedicated to identifying and training community members who can effectively amplify local voices, this pillar ensures that the needs and concerns of the community are heard and addressed.
Change Amplifiers aims to identify, train, and engage cadres to enhance the amplification of community voices.
Change Amplifiers aims to identify, train, and engage cadres to enhance the amplification of community voices.
This pillar aims to ensure representation in every village, connecting underprivileged families across six states. It empowers digitally skilled young women to volunteer, gather, and amplify community stories. These volunteers support local collectives in sharing and implementing information. A think tank of experts in various fields will guide these volunteers and community leaders in driving effective ground and digital actions.

Let’s Connect
Our synchronized campaign and outreach efforts, both online and offline, aim to connect communities with vital resources and support, driving greater awareness and action.
Let’s Connect is a platform that connects grassroots movements with service providers and resources, enhancing collaboration and support for their initiatives. It offers key services like the Activist Intervention Strategy, Advocacy, the Social Impact Lab, and Cadre Building to empower and strengthen grassroots efforts.

It offers key services like the Activist Intervention Strategy, Advocacy, the Social Impact Lab, and Cadre Building to empower and strengthen grassroots efforts.
The Let’s Connect pillar focuses on synchronized actions through two key strategies:
Ground Action: Enhance grassroots narratives with a 360° feedback mechanism to improve communication from communities to policymakers and support evidence-based policy changes. This approach bridges gaps between service providers and beneficiaries.
Social Media Advocacy: Utilize platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to amplify and support ground actions, extending their reach and impact.
Grassroot Action for Impact and Transformation
GAIT is one of the important pillars of Atmashakti, and has been designed to nurture demonstration and data collection models on the ground with the support of special projects to leverage infrastructure, ensure service delivery, and encourage and promote community-led initiatives.
The aim is to ensure the benefits reach every member of the marginalized and Indigenous community.
This pillar develops demonstration and data collection models across health, education, gender, livelihood, and more. It emphasizes socio-economic and political empowerment, focusing on projects that address remoteness and connect closely with communities. Key initiatives include creating malnutrition-free villages, enhancing education, supporting women-centric villages, and advancing agricultural development. Each model involves 1,000-2,000 villages, with strategies for infrastructure, services, and behaviour change, and produces impact reports for effective policy advocacy.
